Installation of discarded books, covers removed, creating an analog stack. The books become a metaphor for memory and information recall – the last item stored is the first item retrieved.

Property of was created as a commentary on intellectual versus real property as it relates to creative works. The practice of ‘branding’ book pages to denote ownership conveys something different than an inscription or a dedication page. These markings, instead, are a deliberate indication that something is ‘ours,’ made to document the provenance of the object as it passes through time.
